What do i need to do to prepare for my tanning session? A few hours before or the night before your tanning session you need to remove dead skin cells by exfoliating - Sienna x ROUGH IT UP SMOOTH IT OFF is perfect for this,- paying particular attention to elbows, kness, ankles & any problem areas - this means the DHA solution can get straight to work on new skin cells!
Paint nails & toe nails with clear nail polish - especially if they are acrylics or simular.
Wax/shave at least 24 hours prior to treatment to allow pores time to close. Dotting may appear if not adhered to.
Do not moisturise or use skin lotions on the day of your tan. Remove make-up, deodrant, perfume, lotions etc, before your tan. Following these simple steps will ensure you get the perfect tan!
How do i keep my perfect tan? bring & wear dark loose clothing for after your tan, any tight clothing or underwear may cause wear marks.
Wear flip flops or loose fitting shoes. Do not shower for at least 8 hours (the development period) - preferably overnight.
Try not to touch your skin during the development time. Afteryour tan i will show you that your hands are clear of tanning solution. Any marks on your hands, therefore, are due to you touching the developing tan. You will need to be aware that once it has developed nothing will remove it from your palms.
After showering/bathing pat dry only.
Moisturise, Moisurise, Moisturise - morning & night. Use Sienna x MAKE IT MOIST MAKE IT LAST tan top-up so your tan is continually being topped up & it's life extended.
After day 5 exfoliate on a daily basis to help your skin absorb even more moisture & keep it lookin & feeling gorgeous.
Long exposure to water & sweating from excercise will fade your tan. Your outer cells will start to soak up water which dilutes the effect of the tan. The longer you are in water the lighter your tan will get!
